Short Biography
The youngest member of the Quik team, Jacob is quickly becoming the sport’s favorite youngster. It is crazy to think that he just turned 14, especially when you witness the mature, controlled disposition of his riding. He was the first 13 year-old to be hammering out backside 7’s and frontside 9’s, all the while mixing in smooth, grabbed spins and mobes. The young Canyon Lake local is currently the most talked about young gun in the wakeboarding world. His happy-go-lucky attitude and at times mischievous antics are becoming some of his trademarks, that and scaring the heck out of the older riders on tour. With two Boys National titles and proficiency on rails and double-ups, Jacob will be blowing minds for a long time to come.

Quik Strike Midwest Wake Recon Mission Day 2
by bchoateSargent Wake here again with another early 0700 start….
Yesterday didn’t start like all others. By 0900 it was 80 degrees air temp and 75 water temp here in Charlevoix. We are talking about one of the most northern parts of the country. I felt like I was back home in Cali. We were out of the barracks and on to assault the water. The Quik Seals (Collin Harrington and Jeff House) were ready to get there first real glassy free ride session in of the trip. We got the coordinates to the top secret lake we would be blowing up. We arrived at the battleground to a pleasant surprise of sheet glass and crystal blue water. I guess that is why the battleground was called Crystal Lake. After a morning ride it was off to another promo in Frankfort at Glik’s. Lieutenant of Quik Midwest (EB Midwest Sales Rep) was up to his old tricks again. Telling us just another 10 minutes. This time we didn’t have to hear it for 5 hours. Just one. The promo and signing went just as planned. A success. After that we took a family and a couple of employees of Glik’s out on the water in the Quik Water Assault vehicle. One of there sons had won the drawing at Glik’s to win a spin in the Quik boat and watch the Quik Seals Ride. So instead of filling the boat with water we used people. The boat was packed. All said and done the mission for day 2 was complete. One more mission to go and the Quik Strike Wake Team is done with there tour of duty. To Be Continued…
